What's Zn-Al-Mg steel coil?

The application of magnesium in hot dip plating dates back to 1960s. The main purpose of it is to further improving the corrosoin resistance of coated steel plate.

Low aluminium ZM: Al 1-3.5%; Medium aluminium ZM: Al 5-11%; High aluminium ZM: AL 55%


1. Significantly enhance the corrosion

 The results of public experiment, accelerated experiment and outdoor exposure experiment show that the increase of Al and Mg content in a certain range can improve the corrosion resistance several times to dozens of times.



2. Superior corrison resistance on cut edge

Zinc based corrosion products containing Mg will cover the surface of the incision, thus forming a protection of the incision
