Overview
Popular abrasion resistant steel grade that combines through-hardness with good levels of ductility and formability. Surface hardness of 360-440 BHN. Ideal for moderate-to-heavy wear uses, such as in bucket components, dump body trucks and construction equipment. Also referred to as AR400F (formable).

1) A short gauge sample is used in tensile test in Transverse direction. 2) Transverse sample is used in the bending test, d=bending diameter, a=thickness of steel sheet. 3) Charpy V-notch longitudinal sample is used in impact test. The values in the table are required from full size (10x10x55,mm). Not testing Under 6mm thickness .
